Daniel was referred to Cranbury College aged 14 because he was suffering with social anxiety following a close bereavement and he found it too difficult to attend a mainstream school. He began with home tutoring, gradually increasing to one day a week at the college, then slowly building up to daily attendance. The staff at Cranbury College were all fantastic and helped Daniel gain confidence and make positive relationships. He managed to achieve 3 G.C.S.E.s at grade C at the end of his time at Cranbury College, as well as BTECs in cooking skills and ICT.
After leaving Cranbury College, he went on to Bracknell and Wokingham College to take 5 G.C.S.E's in a year, and he then stayed on to do A levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. He has conditional places at either Warwick University or Bath University to study for a Masters Degree in Mathematics starting in the Autumn of 2015. He is now a confident, happy, sociable young man with a part-time job and many friends.
Cranbury College played a huge role at a very difficult time in Daniel's life, and gave him the skills, security and confidence to go forward with his life and reach his potential.
